Description
Responsibilities:
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure effective implementation of plans and accountability for outcomes. Utilize your strategic insights to work closely with leaders on financial decisions, investments, efficiency improvements, and business model enhancement initiatives.
- Profit & Loss (P&L) optimization: Identify and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and prioritize company resources, leading optimization projects to drive performance enhancements.
- Headcount governance: Develop a robust resource allocation and monitoring framework to facilitate accurate headcount planning throughout the fiscal year. Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment with the company's headcount blueprint.
- Operational Expenses (Opex) Reporting: Establish key performance metrics, reporting mechanisms, and conduct ad-hoc reviews for the designated area of responsibility. Monitor trends and drivers against planned/forecasted assumptions.
- Annual planning & rolling forecast: Work with senior leaders to establish annual targets for all corporate functions. Maintain high accuracy in P&L forecasting to support decision-making on spending optimization and timely investments.
- Ad-hoc financial & investment case modeling: Assist business partners with ad-hoc requests and critical investments by conducting financial modeling, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis for the CFO and leadership team.
- Team building: Foster cohesive relationships in a remote work setting by contributing to building a collaborative team culture. Share best practices, support team members, and work towards collective team goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master of Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant preferred).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or as a Finance Business Partner, preferably in reputable Technology, FinTech, or Consumer Product companies.
- Prior experience managing headcount in a large, complex matrix organization is desirable.
- Strong modeling and analytical skills with a notable executive presence.
- Proactive, goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work in an unstructured environment, handle ambiguity, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and provide clarity and structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in enterprise-level financial planning and accounting systems.
- Demonstrated interest in crypto and blockchain technology.
