Commercial Analyst, VIP
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to collaborate closely with our VIP and Strategy & Operations teams, concentrating on accelerating revenue growth, enhancing client engagement, and boosting retention within our VIP segment.
The ideal candidate will function as a sales empowerment and commercial data analysis partner, taking a proactive approach to uncover insights, pinpoint opportunities within the customer base, and shape targeted action plans aimed at achieving specific client results.
The role involves working at the nexus of data, commercial strategy, and client operations, where intricate data is translated into actionable insights, dialogue points, and opportunities for Relationship Managers and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end commercial and revenue analytics for the VIP consumer segment, encompassing trading activity, volumes, revenue impact, engagement trends, and client lifecycle analysis.
- Discover and quantify revenue expansion possibilities across regions, product lines, and client cohorts.
- Serve as a sales support partner to the relationship management team by translating data into actionable insights to enhance client interactions and achieve commercial goals.
- Translate analysis outcomes into client-specific key points, cross-selling and upselling opportunities, targeted outreach lists, and performance narratives.
- Support relationship managers with pre-campaign, in-campaign, and post-campaign analysis to measure impact and optimize efficiency.
- Actively identify commercial opportunities within the VIP client base, such as underserved products, dormant activities, and growth potential.
- Collaborate with VIP Leadership, Strategy, and Product teams to devise and evaluate incentivized plans and campaigns tailored to specific client groups.
- Develop and maintain performance analytics to track VIP portfolio health, relationship manager effectiveness, and client engagement metrics.
- Understand team workflows, operating models, and tools to identify data gaps and construct proactive reporting for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic projects like VIP segmentation evolution and go-to-market strategies for VIP clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Sales Analytics, or Strategy positions.
- Demonstrated track record of collaboration with revenue-driving or sales-related teams.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
- Experience working with large transactional datasets.
- Ability to provide insight-driven, actionable analyses beyond dashboard reporting.
- Strong commercial awareness, including understanding of client behaviors, revenue drivers, and economics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and client-facing teams in dynamic environments.
Nice to have
- Background in Crypto, Fintech, Trading, Payments, or high-growth consumer platforms.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with sales or relationship management operational models, particularly within VIP segments.
- Experience influencing commercial strategy through targeted insights, incentives, or campaign analyses.
The listed starting base salary ranges from $85,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience, and includes an equity award matching the base salary.
