Data Engineer - People Analytics
Our Human Resources (HR) team collaborates at practical and strategic levels to support leaders and employees. While HR focuses on managing the company's relationship with employees, culture management emphasizes the emotional connections between employees and the organization. Our HR professionals work in various sub-functions within HR, such as Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Analytics, etc., employing best practices to enhance critical capabilities aligned with organizational goals.
We are searching for an individual with a penchant for problem-solving and a strong dedication to enhancing our data infrastructure for informed decision-making in People Strategy and Data & Analytics. You will handle the end-to-end process of assimilating people data from multiple sources into our SQL Data Warehouse, which underpins our Tableau Dashboards/Analytics. Collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Lead, based in HK, is key to delivering cutting-edge Operational Metrics for Department Heads' oversight. Moreover, you will contribute to the People Analytics roadmap by integrating Dataflows and Dashboards into our global HR Team's Analytics solutions.
Skills and Qualifications Needed:
- Proficient in writing SQL statements for Data Warehouse optimization
- Ability to code; proficiency in Python required, familiarity with Google Colab and AppScript beneficial
- Understanding of automation run in Linux server, e.g., scripting, crons, etc.
- Experience with Dashboards/Analytics tools preferred (Tableau is a plus)
- Competent in handling numerical data; knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel beneficial
- Strong focus on maintaining data integrity, cleanliness, and confidentiality
- Natural problem-solving skills; adept at navigating ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Cantonese fluency is advantageous
