Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to become part of our team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a student to apply theoretical accounting knowledge to practical accounting tasks. You will collaborate closely with our accounting team, supporting various accounting functions and gaining valuable insights into the financial operations of a progressive business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Aid in the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to validate the accuracy of financial records.
• Process and validate employee expense reports in alignment with company policies.
• Contribute to the upkeep of precise and orderly financial records and documents.
• Support audit activities by preparing schedules and collecting necessary documents.
• Engage in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as requested by the team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proficient understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong quantitative and effective communication abilities.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing efficiently.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to tackle new challenges.
