Finance Manager, Data & Process Automation
The Finance and Accounting (F&A) team encompasses various functions such as Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. As a cohesive unit, the team is dedicated to optimizing global finance initiatives, with a focus on attention to detail and multitasking across diverse and stimulating project scopes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams including Finance, Data, and Technology to implement data-driven, automated solutions that enhance financial reporting processes
- Assist the Senior Director in leading automation projects, overseeing them from initiation to completion within scheduled timelines
- Evaluate existing financial procedures to identify obstacles, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement
- Conduct regular meetings and formulate, design, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans autonomously to rectify issues
- Ensure continued monitoring of automated processes post-deployment to guarantee optimal functionality
- Enhance overall financial data stability by introducing controls to mitigate recurring issues and reduce manual intervention
- Support with ad-hoc reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines
- Over 5 years of experience in data analytics and financial process automation
- Proficient understanding of accounting and finance principles, with the ability to collaborate closely with finance managers
- Demonstrated proficiency in spearheading data and automation initiatives from conception through implementation
- Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries and handling intricate business data logic
- Sound comprehension of cloud platforms (specifically AWS), finance databases like NetSuite, and BI tools such as Tableau
- Excellent communication skills and adept at managing stakeholders effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude to oversee projects both independently and collaboratively
