Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Internal Audit, your role is crucial in designing and implementing the internal audit framework for the company. Key responsibilities include developing audit processes and policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute a risk-based audit plan tailored to the scale-up phase.
  • Use risk management expertise to identify and prioritize key risks in expanding operations.
  • Lead audit planning and strategy, including risk assessment and guidance on key initiatives.
  • Design and implement testing strategies to ensure effective controls in business operations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of internal auditors, overseeing their training and performance.
  • Conduct audits across various departments and regulatory audits to ensure compliance.
  • Review policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and verify corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the iGaming sector.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant/CPA, Certified Internal Auditor).
  • 10+ years of audit and risk management experience, including 'Big 4' firms exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal control frameworks, and auditing standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the iGaming industry with an understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous.
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge beneficial.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Jira.
