Team Overview
The Finance Team at Flow Traders is dedicated to enhancing systems and methodologies, developing novel methods for data monitoring and tracking, and increasing transparency. Additionally, we are responsible for managing and reporting on our firm's performance, staying abreast of new regulations and accounting standards, and actively sharing knowledge across the global organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives
- Lead solicitation processes, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP
- Assess and select vendors offering optimal value, risk mitigation, and proof of concept if necessary
- Cultivate and nurture supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive contract management
- Mentor, manage, and provide guidance to the procurement team to enhance performance and promote a culture of excellence
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business requirements
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery while adhering to organizational policies and regulatory standards
- Enhance procurement efficiency, transparency, and accountability through the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and systems
- Supervise the Accounts Payable department
- Integrate suppliers' ESG performance into risk management and due diligence practices
Requirements for Success
- Bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Certification as a Procurement Professional
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a procurement team
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of implementing successful procurement strategies for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Strong negotiation skills and effective stakeholder communication
- Proficiency in vendor management and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English
- Profound knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
