Overview
Our client, a tech solutions company in Dubai, renowned for its startup environment, is expanding its operations. They are currently in search of an HR Manager to join their team and take charge of all HR functions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Mandarin Chinese and acquainted with employment regulations in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the entire recruitment process, encompassing sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and facilitating onboarding.
- Crafting training modules and performance management frameworks to delineate employee roles effectively.
- Devising and upholding a compensation strategy based on market analysis and salary surveys.
- Addressing and resolving employee disputes and conflicts efficiently.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and salary appraisals.
- Managing work visas for foreign staff.
- Administering employee insurance schemes, processing insurance claims, and diligently tracking application status with insurance providers.
- Overseeing staff promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Developing, revising, and enforcing HR policies in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations to mitigate legal risks.
- Ensuring accurate and punctual monthly payroll processing, in adherence to statutory regulations, promptly addressing related compliance concerns.
- Safeguarding employee benefits and company values while nurturing the company culture.
- Handling miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR leadership positions, with a preference for experience within the tech industry.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
- Team player, customer-focused, accountable, decisive, and flexible.
- Profound understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated accountability and ethical conduct.
