About the role
Toku is seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll operations in Israel and throughout the APAC region. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing full-cycle local and EOR payrolls, ensuring statutory compliance for clients worldwide, and contributing to redefining global compensation structures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize payroll data accurately and on time
- Lead monthly payroll processing for multiple clients with precision and compliance
- Reconcile payroll data promptly to ensure accurate and timely employee payments
- Maintain updated payroll records, processes, and procedures consistently
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues effectively from initiation to resolution
- Manage statutory filings and keep abreast of payroll compliance regulations in Israel
- Uphold data integrity and accuracy standards in all payroll operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff, external partners, and vendors regarding payroll inquiries
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in payroll management or equivalent roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English
- In-depth understanding of payroll processing and adherence to best practices
- Proficiency in utilizing payroll software tools such as SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with external partners
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, adaptable to remote agile environments
- Proven initiative and a track record of entrepreneurship or side projects is a bonus
