Foris Capital US LLC, a company specializing in cryptocurrency, is looking for an experienced FINRA Series 7 Registered Representative focused on IRAs and retirement accounts to join the broker/dealer team in Chicago, Illinois. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all IRA-related inquiries and transactions, provide comprehensive support to clients with their retirement accounts, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
As a vital part of the client service team, you will be at the forefront of customer interactions, assisting with various IRA processes such as rollovers, transfers, contributions, distributions, RMDs, beneficiary updates, and addressing complex issues including excess contributions and recharacterizations. Additionally, you will work towards enhancing processes and delivering exceptional client experiences via phone, email, and chat channels.
Responsibilities:
- Offer expert guidance on various IRAs and retirement accounts, covering Traditional, Roth, and Inherited IRAs.
- Deliver top-tier customer service through phone, email, and chat while maintaining compliance standards.
- Efficiently process IRA transfers, rollovers, contributions, distributions, and recharacterizations.
- Educate clients on retirement account regulations concerning contribution limits, RMDs, and tax implications.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the IRA service experience and contribute to operational streamlining.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex IRA or retirement-related issues.
- Stay updated on IRS and FINRA rules regarding retirement accounts.
- Contribute to developing educational content and tools to aid clients in making informed retirement decisions.
Requirements & Skills:
- Holding active FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in retirement or brokerage industry, particularly focused on IRAs and retirement accounts.
- Strong understanding of IRA rules for contributions, distributions, and rollovers.
- Clean regulatory record without any Disclosure Events.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust with clients and offer clear guidance that complies with regulations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and eagerness to expand expertise in retirement products and services.
- Enthusiasm for aiding clients in attaining their financial and retirement goals while promoting a positive customer service culture.
- Willingness to work and support clients in overnight trading in a 24/5 environment.
- Interest in cryptocurrencies.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
