Japan Marketing Manager (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Manager for the Japanese market to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies. Collaborating with global teams, you will focus on enhancing brand visibility, increasing user acquisition, and fostering ecosystem growth. This position necessitates in-depth knowledge of Web3.0 and the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Strategy: Formulate and implement Japan market GTM strategies in alignment with local objectives. Analyze market trends, competitors, and user behavior within the Web3.0 space. Identify growth prospects in DeFi, Web3 applications, and DeSocial.
Brand & Campaign: Design and oversee integrated online and offline marketing campaigns. Tailor global brand messaging to resonate with Japanese audiences. Take ownership of tracking campaign performance and conducting ROI analysis.
Community & Ecosystem: Foster the Japanese Web3.0 community growth across various platforms. Collaborate with KOLs, media outlets, and local partners in the crypto and Web3 ecosystem in Japan. Support local events, meetups, conferences, and hackathons.
Content & Communication: Lead the development of Japanese content strategy for social media, blogs, PR, and newsletters. Ensure high-quality communication in Japanese and English. Coordinate with the global team on multi-market campaigns.
Requirements
Must-have
- At least 1 year of Japanese marketing experience in a local or international company.
- Proficiency in the Web3.0/crypto/blockchain industry
- Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English skills (spoken and written).
- Experience in community building and collaboration with KOLs.
- Experience working within international teams.
Strong Plus
- Hands-on experience in DeFi, GameFi, DeSocial, or related areas.
- Familiarity with Japan's crypto regulations and market landscape.
