Key Responsibilities: 

Circle is on the lookout for a collaborative Lead UX Designer to shape intuitive and user-centric experiences across our digital platforms. Your focus will be creating a top-notch website that resonates with our diverse user base, taking charge of user journeys, information architecture, hierarchy, and navigation in collaboration with a team of designers.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments such as Creative, Marketing, Business, and Product. Your role involves conducting research, prototyping, and translating complex concepts into user-friendly experiences. Your contributions are instrumental to the website’s evolution and its engagement with our audience.

Daily tasks involve: 

  • Crafting user-friendly UX structure and flows, emphasizing optimal user experience through wireframing, flowcharts, mockups, and prototyping techniques.
  • Iterating swiftly by utilizing customer journey mapping and persona development to recommend enhancements for ongoing website projects in progress.
  • Planning and executing continual user research and experiments aligned with the website roadmap while sharing insights with stakeholders to steer website development.
  • Pioneering customer discovery sessions, design thinking discussions, and journey mapping workshops to gain insights into user pain points and challenges.
  • Taking charge of creating architecture-centric outcomes for projects, like information architecture and content structures, alongside review processes.
  • Steering the UX processes, documenting, sharing, and enhancing team processes, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration for measurable design experiments and feature launches.
  • Delivering timely work in sync with the roadmap, consistently aiming for excellence in quality.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of UX experience with digital design or information architecture proficiency.
  • Extensive background in developing global web experiences across mobile, desktop, and tablet platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in user research, solution sketching, and wireframing.
  • Ability to steer the UX process as the principal architect, a keen eye for the big picture, user flow, and information architecture expertise.
  • A stellar portfolio showcasing technical skills and creative acumen.
  • Current knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
  • Sense of urgency, detail-oriented mindset, and commitment to follow-through, along with an interest in blockchain, crypto, and finance.
  • Familiarity with MacOS, GSuite, LucidChart, Figma, Google Analytics, Superset, and Hubspot.

Additional Details:

This role offers PERM sponsorship from day one for eligible applicants in the US.

Circle strives to foster an inclusive financial future, founded on transparency. Our compensation structure takes various factors like experience, skill set, and organizational needs into account to determine the starting pay that ranges from $130,000 to $170,000.

Our benefits include equity, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, with a discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave, and 11 paid holidays annually in the US.
