Key Responsibilities:
- Possess an in-depth understanding of transaction timelines, from source documents to ledger posting
- Apply analytical skills to identify core issues and propose innovative remedies
- Lead end-to-end project cycles, from conception to implementation, for moderately complex assignments
- Prioritize tasks and exercise problem-solving abilities with minimal guidance
- Demonstrate alignment with Anchorage’s strategic objectives in personal planning and goal setting
- Clearly articulate how individual contributions support departmental priorities
- Foster strong team relationships and embody organizational culture principles
- Adjust communication approaches effectively and secure stakeholder buy-in
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
- Proficiency in designing and implementing processes to enhance accounts payable efficiency
- Hands-on familiarity in managing corporate credit cards and expense reports, guaranteeing adherence to company policies
- Strong communication skills and adeptness in collaborating with business partners to further the organizational mission
- Experience in upholding and implementing internal controls
- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote setting while overseeing processes diligently
