**Role

As a Product Designer at Anchorage Digital, your primary objective will be to gain profound insight into the solutions the company offers and the challenges it addresses, thereby developing innovative patterns that merge conventional financial procedures with the digital asset realm. You will be tasked with finding creative ways to address unprecedented queries for institutional users, such as enhancing the security and efficiency of fund transfers, reconciling privacy demands with the transparency of blockchains, and enabling clients to engage in on-chain proposals with cutting-edge digital assets.

In this role, you will join a team of dedicated, collaborative, and perpetually inquisitive designers focused on reshaping the financial landscape by redefining the interaction between institutions and digital assets in custody, banking, trading, and settlement products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Skills:

• Conduct research and engage with customers in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Create and refine a broad spectrum of solutions, concepts, and detailed designs, culminating in the optimal solution backed by robust reasoning.
• Proficiently utilize sketching, flow diagrams, interface design tools, and prototyping tools as part of the daily workflow.
• Design integrated, comprehensive, and modular systems geared towards facilitating future scalability.

2. Complexity and Impact of Work:

• Lead strategic, large-scale projects or tackle intricate problems with ambiguous solutions, acknowledged by peers, technical leads, and managers for their challenging nature or significant impact on Anchorage.
• Break down complex projects into manageable initiatives that the team can successfully execute and maintain.
• Enhance understanding of the interconnectedness between products and departments, fostering alignment within the broader Product, Design, and Engineering team.
• Guide business direction by spearheading the development and design of innovative services or products.

3. Organizational Knowledge:

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate team strategy into a clear product vision.
• Foster shared comprehension of Anchorage's needs and strategic direction to rally teams, while implementing programs and processes in alignment with the company's goals.

4. Communication and Influence:

• Articulate complex issues effectively across varied audiences and partner with senior members to disseminate the vision, mission, and strategy along with highlighting positive implications for clients and the roadmap.
• Demonstrate highly effective communication through concise and clear written and verbal delivery, leveraging storytelling to engage stakeholders.

5. Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess a minimum of 8 years' experience in designing high-caliber enterprise products.
• Demonstrate expertise in financial and crypto products.
• Ability to devise strategies and address complex challenges across iOS and Web platforms, simplifying complexity into user-friendly outcomes.
• Exhibit ownership of the design process, adopting a holistic approach to design decisions that offer both user and business value.
• Deep understanding of creating scalable, usable, and accessible modular designs.
• Superior communication skills and proven ability to lead in cross-functional settings.
• Experience in collaborating with product managers and engineers to develop product features.
• Proficient at giving, receiving feedback, and mentoring other designers.
• Possess a unique blend of qualities such as creativity, humility, attention to detail, self-awareness, curiosity, thoughtfulness, and tenacity.
• Showcase a robust portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and storytelling acumen indicative of a design thinker.

6. Additional Points:

• Demonstrated experience in designing for the crypto or finance sector, specifically in traditional banking, settlement solutions, or asset custody, is a plus.
• Familiarity with designing for institutional users in the digital finance domain is beneficial.
