Responsibilities
- Manage OTC trading activities during US hours, including quoting trades and nurturing relationships with trading counterparts.
- Collaborate with senior traders to price and quote complex trades more effectively.
- Employ risk management strategies to evaluate and mitigate trading risks.
- Assist the business development team in shaping and executing the OTC sales strategy.
- Utilize internal resources for market insights and provide additional value to counterparties, with the ability to generate independent market research.
- Engage in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase the client base and stay informed on market trends.
Hard Skills Requirements
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a sales trader in a high-performance environment.
- Preference for candidates with crypto experience, although applicants from other asset classes are also welcome.
- Proficient in OTC spot trading; familiarity with derivatives products is a significant advantage.
- Exposure to HFT/algorithmic trading businesses is beneficial.
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge in blockchain, crypto, and DeFi.
