Payroll Operations Specialist

We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Operations Specialist to provide support to our payroll team by verifying payslips and maintaining precise data records within our payroll systems. This position necessitates exceptional attention to detail, analytical proficiency, and efficient handling of payroll information while upholding compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Payslip Reconciliation:
- Thoroughly examine payroll reports to validate payslips against payroll computations.
- Address and rectify any discrepancies in payroll data in collaboration with internal teams and external payroll providers.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll adjustments, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Payroll Data Management and Operations:
- Input payslips and payroll data accurately into both internal and external databases.
- Keep payroll records up to date reflecting changes in employee compensations, tax codes, and benefits.
- Adhere to local payroll regulations and internal policies while managing payroll information.
Process Enhancement and Compliance:
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll reconciliation and data entry processes.
- Aid in payroll audits and reporting to guarantee compliance with financial controls and labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality and implement data security measures when handling sensitive payroll data.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: More than 2 years in payroll operations, finance, or relevant field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in payroll systems like ADP, Workday, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with databases, Excel functionalities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros), and reconciliation tools.
- Attention to Detail: Capability to analyze and rectify large volumes of payroll data with precision.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address payroll discrepancies effectively.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication abilities for effective collaboration across teams.
- Confidentiality: Dedication to handling sensitive payroll information discreetly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with global payroll providers or handling multi-country payroll processes.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance prerequisites, and labor laws concerning payroll.
- Background in finance, accounting, or HR operations is advantageous.
