Overview
Our client, a prominent player in automated systems for the local travel industry, is in need of a Regional Sales Executive. Working with a robust user base of over 1,000 individuals, they specialize in offering comprehensive GDS services and unique products that seamlessly integrate various aspects of travel agency operations, including front/back office functionalities, e-commerce capabilities, loyalty/database marketing, and CRM solutions. Supported by a committed Help Desk, Support Team, and Sales staff, they bring a wealth of experience to the travel agency sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop leads and convert them to secure new clients by providing innovative travel technology solutions to both online and offline travel agencies.
- Create and implement short- and long-term sales strategies to consistently meet specified objectives and revenue goals.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
- Build and expand the sales pipeline by leveraging referrals from the current client base.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships with key stakeholders in major accounts within a designated territory.
- Assess customer needs and offer insights for enhancing the product portfolio based on feedback received.
- Gather market intelligence and provide relevant insights.
- Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a travel intermediary role, preferably with exposure to online travel agencies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
- A Higher Diploma or higher qualification is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with GDS products would be beneficial.
