Description
The Account Executive role at The Giving Block primarily focuses on expanding the client base with new nonprofit organizations through cryptocurrency, stock donations, and Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) services. This position requires a self-driven individual with a proven sales track record, particularly in consistently exceeding targets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales management skills, high activity levels, and the ability to identify and secure new opportunities in digital asset donations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition: Actively seek out and secure new clients, emphasizing the expansion of the client base with new organizations.
- Sales Proficiency and Closing Techniques: Display exceptional sales capabilities with a focus on closing deals by using compelling communication and negotiation skills.
- Goal-Oriented Approach: Sustain a high level of sales activity to meet or surpass sales targets consistently by implementing proactive outreach and follow-up strategies.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to uncover unexplored opportunities and create tailored strategies for acquiring new clients in the nonprofit sector.
- Solution-Centric Selling: Demonstrate expertise in selling SaaS solutions by understanding client needs and effectively communicating the unique value proposition to address specific challenges faced by nonprofit organizations.
Primary Duties:
- Lead initiatives to obtain new clients, concentrating exclusively on expanding The Giving Block's client base.
- Use assertive sales methodologies to ensure a high conversion rate from prospecting to closing deals.
- Monitor and report on sales activities regularly, adjusting approaches as necessary to optimize performance.
- Engage in strategic networking and relationship building to establish a strong market presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies and enhance lead generation efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven sales closure experience, focusing on acquiring new business.
- Solid knowledge of the nonprofit sector and/or financial services, with a preference for digital asset expertise.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
Preferred Background:
- Hands-on experience in high-activity sales environments with an emphasis on new business growth.
- Demonstrated success in navigating and closing intricate deals within competitive markets.
