Senior Accountant, Digital Assets and Investments

In this role, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal part in supporting the Digital Assets and Investments team. The incumbent will lead in handling digital assets and investments accounting operations including reconciliations, journal entries, anomaly detection, data integrity, report disclosures, and process automation. As a multinational entity, collaboration with international accounting teams is key for cross-functional training, monthly closing activities, disclosures reporting, and backing audits related to corporate digital assets. Close interaction with various teams such as data and engineering, product development, treasury, risk, and finance will be essential.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in month-end closure procedures for digital assets and investments.
- Conducting variance analysis and reviewing account changes to ensure accurate representation in financial records.
- Supporting significant report disclosures and regulatory submissions.
- Identifying areas for process enhancements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance automation and reporting efficiency.
- Establishing reporting prerequisites for cross-functional partners and ensuring completeness and accuracy for new and existing product launches.
- Participating in the setup of digital assets accounting software and ERP system.
- Aiding in relevant SOX, audit, and tax duties.
- Performing specific accounting analyses and projects upon request.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
- Prior Big 4 exposure and CPA certification preferred.
- Expertise in comprehensive and data-focused reconciliations.
- Strong grasp of technical accounting principles, current regulations, and compliance matters.
- Enthusiasm for process enhancement and automation.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive approach, collaborative work style, multitasking abilities, and creativity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced environments.
- Capability to manage workloads efficiently and complete tasks promptly.
- Adept at handling confidential data.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
Additional Compensation and Benefits Information:
- Day-one PERM sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
- Compensation is determined by factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and business needs.
- Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500.
- Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%.
- Additional benefits include equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, 10 days paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
