Job Summary:
Circle is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Digital Assets and Investments team. In this role, you will primarily oversee accounting functions related to digital assets and investments, including transactional flow analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, exception monitoring, reporting, and process automation. Collaborating with international accounting teams, you will streamline month-end processes, reporting disclosures, and audit activities specific to digital assets. Furthermore, you will closely engage with cross-functional teams such as data, engineering, product, treasury, risk, and general finance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close procedures for digital assets and investments.
- Conduct fluctuation analysis to ensure accurate recording of balances in financial statements.
- Support key reporting disclosures and regulatory filings.
- Identify areas for process enhancement and drive automation initiatives in collaboration with various teams.
- Provide accurate reporting requirements for product launches and align with cross-functional partners.
- Assist in the implementation of digital assets accounting software and ERP systems.
- Support SOX, audit, and tax obligations.
- Undertake specialized accounting analysis and projects as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; CPA certification and Big 4 experience preferred.
- Proficiency in detailed reconciliations, technical accounting, and compliance regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, proactive approach, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and familiarity with relevant tools like Slack and GSuite.
