Senior Accountant - Technical & Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of audit support and responses to auditor requests during reporting and tax cycles.
• Leading technical accounting research efforts and preparing position memos for complex transactions.
• Reviewing disclosures and supporting documents for SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K forms.
• Facilitating effective communication between accounting teams, tax departments, operations, and external auditors.
• Maintenance of accounting policy documentation and identification of reporting efficiency opportunities.
• Execution and support of internal financial controls in compliance with SOX 404.
• Collaboration with the tax department on key components of the income tax provision.
• Other assigned duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 3-6 years of progressive experience in public accounting or technical accounting at a public company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and related reporting standards.
• Experience in writing and reviewing technical accounting memos and footnotes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word including pivot tables and document formatting.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks, work on-site, and support after-hours or weekend work when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with investment accounting or digital asset accounting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, FloQast, DFin, Workiva, and/or Certent.
• Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced public company environment.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually

This role may involve the operation of a company vehicle or travel between sites. Candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
