Responsibilities:
Entrusted with providing creative leadership, this role reports to the VP of the Creative Lab, driving impactful marketing initiatives in alignment with Circle’s organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Key Tasks:
- Molding a compelling storytelling strategy for the website to craft engaging user experiences and narrative structures at the page level. This encompasses spearheading new projects, enhancing website content, and design optimization.
- Spearheading content exploration and strategy for the ongoing comprehensive redesign of the website, ensuring a tailored approach that aligns with user preferences.
- Crafting user-friendly web content, like navigation menus and engagement flows, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to unify content hierarchy and enhance user experiences.
- Managing an initial Content Strategist, nurturing their potential through mentorship while driving the evolution of the Content Strategy domain's impact across marketing functions.
- Collaborating with the internationalization team to maintain top-notch product experiences for diverse global audiences in multiple languages.
- Establishing clear content standards to guide writers and internal partners in creating impactful, brand-aligned web content across various platforms.
- Evolving global taxonomy documentation to bolster content organization and enhance search and SEO effectiveness.
- Generating diverse writing solutions for web content, product launches, and various marketing platforms to bolster customer engagement.
- Contribute to content strategies for the intranet in consultation with concerned stakeholders.
- Coordinating with internal partners from marketing, product, engineering, policy, communications, and legal sectors.
- Leveraging writing expertise and UX principles in sync with front-end development requirements to deliver customer-centric product copy.
- Participating in planning cycles alongside Director level peers within the Creative Lab team to allocate resources effectively based on company objectives.
- Collaborating with peers to assess the content ecosystem and drive consistency and relevance across various platforms.
Desired Skills:
- Over 12 years of experience in content strategy across brand marketing, creative agencies, and internal Centers of Excellence.
- A minimum of 5 years in senior marketing roles showcasing leadership abilities and results-driven performance.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree considered a bonus.
- Demonstrated executive presence with exceptional influencing capabilities across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient critical thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills and a knack for storytelling.
- Thrives in dynamic environments, bringing structure and order amidst chaos.
- Enthusiastic about exploring technologies like cryptography and blockchain and their potential to reshape financial landscapes.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Slack, Coda, Asana, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
- Proficient in designing content for various mediums, including web, email, and product interfaces.
- Prior experience in systems thinking pertaining to scalable content creation and information architecture projects.
- Acquainted with web design and SEO best practices for ecommerce and software as a service (SaaS) platforms.
Additional Details:
This role is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
Circle places strong emphasis on creating an inclusive financial future with transparency. Compensation varies based on factors like experience, qualifications, and organizational needs. The provided base pay range is $220,000 - $275,000, with a 25% annual bonus target, equity, and benefit offerings including medical coverage, dental benefits, vision care, 401(k) retirement plan, open leave policy, 10 paid sick days annually, and 11 paid holidays in the U.S.
