Responsibilities
- Assist in developing the annual budget and continuous forecasting processes
- Collaborate with the People and Talent teams to budget and forecast headcount requirements
- Analyze specific expense or revenue lines to comprehend their drivers and seek methods to improve financial performance
- Aid the Accounting team in the month-end closing process
- Create and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management reports to stakeholders, showcasing financial results, key performance indicators, and variance analysis
- Develop compelling presentation materials for financial projections, business performance, and risks/opportunities to leadership
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects requested by senior management
- Focus on enhancing forecast methodology, accuracy, and efficiency through process automation
- Build business relationships across teams and serve as a strategic partner
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking
- Proficiency in advanced Excel/Google Sheets, including complex formulas, scenario analysis, and pivot tables
- Previous exposure to FP&A and ERP software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills using data, metrics, and financial models
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse teams
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives and delivering results
- Willingness to be hands-on and engage in all aspects of the role
- Passion for crypto and web3 evident through personal or professional engagement with industry news
