Job Responsibilities:
The role at sFOX calls for a team-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic setting, handling sensitive data with the utmost ethical standards while overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements. We seek a meticulous accountant/senior accountant to execute and coordinate accounting tasks within our organization. This role involves preparing financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, aiding in audit preparations, and fulfilling other accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), proficient financial analysis skills, advanced Excel proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, independence in work, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Key Duties:
- Managing and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Conducting month-end reporting and analysis.
- Providing support for annual audit preparations.
- Supervising process enhancements and transformative initiatives.
- Ensuring the operational environment's integrity aligns with audit and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Controllership function/finance with expertise in handling specialized/USGAAP-based accounting operations.
- Exposure to international and shared services environments considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in MYSQL and Quicksight is beneficial.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in data analysis is crucial.
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with Big 4 firms.
- Previous exposure to auditing practices.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks/SQL.
