Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer to join our Growth team and drive the creation of a top-tier product in the web3 sector. In this role, you will be involved in building and overseeing our core application, integrations with numerous DeFi protocols, a loyalty program, as well as other key features aimed at continuing the growth of our TVL. We are looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys tackling intricate challenges, collaborating within a close-knit team, and is passionate about leaving a meaningful impact.
This position is to be primarily conducted in-office in Toronto four days a week.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Golang for optimal performance.
- Manage and enhance relational databases like PostgreSQL for data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and manage secure, scalable API services for optimum performance.
- Create visually engaging and highly responsive web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Integrate web3 technologies to enable blockchain functionalities within the DApps.
- Ensure high application performance, maintain code integrity, and promote responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to design and introduce new features improving user experience and engagement.
- Follow best coding practices, including automated testing, code review, and documentation.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in blockchain technology, security, and full-stack development to enhance our platforms continuously.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field.
- Extensive experience across the entire tech stack, with a minimum of 5 years in development.
- Motivated and driven individual willing to put in the necessary effort to accomplish challenging goals.
- Independence and owner's approach, critical for navigating a fast-paced startup environment.
- Effective communication skills for seamless collaboration within the team and organization.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and DApps is a plus, though not mandatory, an interest in exploring this area would be beneficial.
