The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the CoinDesk team. This position entails the responsibility of overseeing a diverse range of products and initiatives central to our mission. It involves optimizing user experiences across various platforms, from data services and mobile apps to our expansive editorial and event portfolios. Your leadership is crucial in ensuring that these products uphold the highest standards of quality and innovation and seamlessly integrate to effectively serve our diverse audience.

This role reports to the Director of Product Management and allows for a hybrid work arrangement, with some onsite work at our NYC office near Union Square.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy across all CoinDesk platforms to ensure a unified user experience.
• Design platforms that prioritize user-friendliness for easy navigation, search functionality, and comprehension of intricate cryptocurrency data.
• Lead the advancement of our mobile applications with a focus on enhanced functionality and user engagement.
• Improve our event management systems to optimize the delivery and impact of our global events.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to streamline content delivery across multiple formats, such as articles, videos, and podcasts, to enhance accessibility and audience reach.
• Drive continuous enhancement of platforms based on user feedback, market trends, and technological advancements.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring that each phase aligns with our high standards for quality and user-centric approach.
• Ensure that our data presentation aligns with the evolving needs of our diverse user base, including both casual investors and seasoned financial professionals.
• Uphold the CoinDesk standard for accuracy, reliability, and transparency in all data-related products and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years of proven experience in product management, preferably in the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency and/or financial markets, data structures, and the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
• A passion for the crypto, web3, blockchain, and/or AI industries with a keen interest in consuming industry-related digital content.
• Experience collaborating with crypto data and APIs, mobile app development, event management systems, or editorial teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and translate user needs into effective product features.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in agile product development environments.
