Senior Tax Associate, Transfer Pricing (Relocation to Hong Kong)

Collectively, the team focuses on optimizing global finance initiatives and excels in attention to detail while managing multiple exciting project scopes.
The Transfer Pricing Senior Associate / Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the company's transfer pricing policies and documentation. This position involves implementing intercompany transactions, preparing Local File/Master File documents, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR). An ideal candidate for this role should possess strong analytical skills, have experience in financial services or tech-driven environments, and effectively collaborate across teams to oversee complex intercompany structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, prepare, and reconcile intercompany journal entries for transfer pricing while ensuring adherence to global tax accounting standards.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation like Local File, Master File, and CbCR, following OECD and local regulations.
- Support the development and oversight of the Group's transfer pricing model, executing TP policies and legal agreements for intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate with finance teams and advisors for timely submission of CbCR, BEPS Pillar 2, and other transfer pricing filings.
- Conduct financial analyses and benchmarking to support transfer pricing strategies, engaging with external advisors for project execution.
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, treasury, and business units to synchronize transfer pricing activities with other business functions.
- Contribute to tax and financial audits by preparing necessary responses and documentation.
- Optimize processes and utilize tax, accounting, and AI technology for efficient data collection and reporting.
- Stay informed about global tax regulations, transfer pricing guidelines, OECD updates, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Taxation) or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in transfer pricing or tax, with at least 2 years in-house or from Big 4/consulting firms; experience in fintech/tech sectors is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with OECD guidelines, Local File/Master File, BEPS Pillar 2, and CbCR requirements.
- Ability to adapt and engage in hands-on operational transfer pricing tasks.
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and tools like Bloomberg or RoyaltyRange.
- Advanced skills in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tax software is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, demonstrating resourcefulness and commitment to project completion.
