Monad Labs is seeking a Workplace Operations Associate to manage all aspects of in-office and remote operations for the team. This position involves diverse responsibilities across departments and necessitates strong communication skills, organization, and collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities

The Workplace Operations Associate will be responsible for in-office and workplace administration and cross-departmental initiatives, including:

Ensuring smooth team and office operations and liaising with vendors when necessary

Managing office supplies, lunch orders, and refreshments

Collaborating with the Operations team and cross-functional leaders to enhance the overall employee and workplace experience

Executing various tasks supporting organization needs and assisting executives with personal tasks as required

Salary and Benefits

Minimum full-time salary of $90,000-$100,000 (final offer may vary based on experience, expertise, and location). Benefits include paid time off, insurance coverage, in-office equipment stipend, wellness/fitness stipend, and company holidays.

Architect and manage large-scale distributed infrastructure with a focus on automation

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in devops, infrastructure, SRE, or platform roles

Proficiency in software development beyond typical infrastructure configurations

Experience in deploying or extending an internal developer platform to streamline processes for other engineering teams

Track record of leading cross-team initiatives with measurable impact on business outcomes

Strong skills in shell scripting and at least one higher-level language

Proficient in Linux

Expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting large real-time systems

Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and end-to-end tracing

Background in distributed systems and container orchestration

Effective communication skills and a willingness to actively engage in planning meetings and code reviews

The starting pay for successful candidates is gauged based on job-relevant skills, experience, qualifications, work locality, and market conditions.

Nova Labs targets the 50th percentile of the pay scale for incoming staff.

Salary range based on target expertise and skills for U.S. locations are as follows:
Tier 1: $93,000 - $127,000 (San Francisco / New York City)

Tier 2: $84,000 - $114,000 (Boston, Seattle, DC, San Diego, Los Angeles, CA State Avg)
