Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Singapore team. This position will mainly focus on talent acquisition activities, constituting 80% of the role, with an additional 20% dedicated to local HR operations. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be instrumental in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support our organization's growth in the region. The role also involves managing various HR operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of HR processes.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (80%):
- Work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand the talent requirements across different departments and business units.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates through diverse channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of potential candidates to ensure alignment with the organization's values and needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers and onboarding.
- Keep accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical positions and forecast future talent needs.
- Continuously monitor and enhance recruitment metrics to improve the efficiency of the talent acquisition process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to address market challenges and opportunities.
Local HR Operations (20%):
- Support various HR operational functions, including employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
- Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations in line with local standards.
- Provide timely and accurate HR-related support in response to employee inquiries.
- Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives and events to nurture a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to maintain consistency in HR practices and contribute to global HR projects as needed.
- Participate in local compensation and benefits surveys to attract and retain top talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in a dynamic environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices in Singapore.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills to engage with passive candidates effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with candidates, employees, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Results-focused with a commitment to achieving recruitment goals and delivering top talent solutions.
- Proactive and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
