Key Responsibilities
- Offer timely technical accounting advice and guidance to business and finance teams relating to digital asset exchange and blockchain infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of IFRS-compliant accounting policies, conducting research on intricate accounting matters to ensure accurate and transparent external financial reporting.
- Manage audit-preparedness activities and coordinate external audit processes to address critical accounting issues linked to digital assets and emerging fintech products.
- Supervise the preparation and dissemination of financial statements for external use, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements, and stay informed about industry trends related to digital asset reporting.
- Conduct training sessions for finance teams and other business stakeholders on various relevant topics.
- Create technical accounting documents and engage with advisors and external auditors to facilitate discussions on complex accounting matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for Big 4 public accounting or audit background.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant.
- Proficiency in technical accounting and evaluative skills at an advanced level.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective coordination with international partners and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills to lead teams and coordinate global reporting efforts.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth environment with evolving structures and policies.
- Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced learning environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
