Overview
We are in search of a highly skilled and strategic individual to fulfill the role of VP of Human Resources within our client's team. This position necessitates expertise in human resource practices and a talent for both strategic planning and hands-on implementation.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall business goals
- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluation, and compensation
- Develop and supervise employee training programs to encourage development and retention
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance company culture and promote employee engagement
- Offer strategic HR guidance to the executive team
- Utilize HR technologies and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and informed decision-making
Requirements
- Proven background as a VP of HR or in a comparable senior HR position in a hedge fund or buy-side firm
- Prior experience in start-up environments is highly desired
- Demonstrated strategic acumen in translating business objectives into HR strategies
- Willingness to engage in all levels of task execution
- Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities
- Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with HR technologies and leveraging data for decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
