Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and provide reusable page templates (e.g., product landing pages) that are consistent with the brand and can scale accordingly.
  • Create designs using Figma for evaluation.
  • Construct and set up these templates within Payload CMS to ensure editors can easily manage and reutilize them.
  • Develop and integrate reusable widgets/components (e.g., author profile cards, live pricing blocks, rich content sections).
  • Work closely with Organic Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to verify templates and widgets meet performance, UX, and SEO/AIO criteria.
  • Ensure a uniform application of responsive design and accessibility standards across all elements.
  • Integrate external data sources (e.g., APIs for pricing, content feeds) into CMS-based components.
  • Offer technical documentation and training to internal teams on leveraging and expanding the systems built.
  • Keep abreast of design and front-end development best practices and CMS framework advancements to introduce innovation to our web experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in web design and front-end development, preferably in global or content-rich settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Payload CMS (or similar headless CMS platforms like Strapi, Sanity, Contentful) encompassing content modeling and customized component creation.
  • Advanced design skills with a portfolio displaying UI/UX and component-based systems.
  • Proficient in modern front-end technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
  • Capable of designing and coding reusable widgets and components that seamlessly integrate with CMS operations.
  • Knowledgeable in accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with APIs and dynamic data integrations.
  • Excellent English language skills with effective communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities.
  • Self-reliant, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering promptly in a fast-paced setting.
