Impact
As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping FalconX's future through leading growth initiatives. Your role will involve identifying industry trends, fostering key external relationships, and managing the full lifecycle of strategic opportunities - from sourcing and negotiation to integration.
You will be part of a dynamic, fast-growing team, offering a high-impact environment where challenges drive high performance and constant adaptation. This role offers significant autonomy to act swiftly within a global landscape and collaborate closely with executives across various functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead M&A and strategic investments end-to-end, encompassing sourcing, financial analysis, negotiation, deal structuring, due diligence oversight, and stakeholder coordination
- Collaborate across product, markets, revenue, and executive teams to pinpoint strategic growth areas and develop M&A priorities
- Cultivate a robust deal pipeline by cultivating relationships with bankers, investors, industry players, founders, and partners
- Continuously scan the market for strategic opportunities aligned with FalconX's objectives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and optimization of acquisitions
- Provide strategic direction and support for successful post-acquisition integration and partnerships
- Ensure alignment between corporate development strategy and integration processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, or private equity, preferably at top-tier firms
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field emphasizing analytical skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and various valuation methods
- Strong background in managing transactions from research to integration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to tackle ambiguous challenges in a fast-paced setting
- Skilled negotiator with creative capital solutions and partnership expertise
- Experience with debt and equity capital solutions is a plus
- On-site position at San Mateo office
Preferences:
- Prior experience in digital assets or fintech industry
- MBA qualification preferred
Compensation:
Base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $220,000 USD, with additional compensation potential based on performance, equity opportunities, and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be decided based on individual skillset, experience, and qualifications.
