Business Development Associates/Managers

Full time
Remote
About the Role
We're opening five BD Associate positions to expand our outreach capacity and grow the pipeline that powers TA Quant's partnerships and client base. As a BD Associate, you'll be the first point of contact between TA Quant and the projects, exchanges, and counterparties we want to work with. That means running targeted outreach campaigns, opening conversations, qualifying opportunities, and passing warm leads up to BD Managers for progression. This is a high-volume, high-communication role. You'll be managing a lot of simultaneous conversations across Telegram, Discord, X, and email, staying organized and professional throughout while moving quickly. If you're someone who is plugged into the crypto space, knows how to start and sustain a conversation without sounding like a template, and wants to grow in a BD career inside a real trading firm, this is a great place to build that foundation.
Responsibilities
Conduct targeted outreach to projects, exchanges, protocols, and potential partners across relevant channels
Serve as the primary point of contact for initial conversations and early relationship building with prospects
Qualify leads and opportunities and facilitate warm handoffs to BD Managers
Maintain accurate CRM records and keep outreach activity well-documented and up to date
Coordinate meetings, introductions, and follow-ups to keep deals moving through the pipeline
Stay current on crypto market developments, new project launches, and ecosystem trends to identify outreach opportunities
Requirements
1+ years of experience in a BD, sales, or client-facing role
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage a high volume of ongoing conversations simultaneously
Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, async-first remote environment
Genuine interest in crypto, Web3, and digital asset markets

Experience using CRM tools and structured outreach workflows
Prior exposure to market making, liquidity services, or trading infrastructure

Merchant Onboarding Specialist

Phnom Penh, Cambodia +8
Phnom Penh, Cambodia +8
Part time
Hybrid
About Starzip
Starzip builds tools that let local business owners put their store on chain and reach customers beyond their neighbourhood. We are starting with food, beverage and retail merchants in Southeast Asia.

What this job actually looks like
No blockchain background is needed and we do not expect one. What matters is that you are comfortable walking into a cafe at 10am and starting a conversation with the owner. We tell you which areas to start in, and you get the script, the materials and a person to call when a shop asks something you have not heard before.

What you will do
- Visit local merchants in person — cafes, restaurants, small retail shops
- Explain what our service does, in plain language, in the local language
- Help owners complete the onboarding steps and gather the documents they need
- Record what you see in the field so we learn which neighbourhoods work

What we look for
- You have sold to small business owners face to face. Payments, POS, delivery platform or franchise sales experience is a strong signal
- You are fluent in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) and comfortable working in English with our team
- You can travel around the city on your own during business hours
- You are comfortable being measured on how many merchants you actually meet, not on a quota of signatures

This role is not a fit if
- You are looking for a remote or online-only role. This is field work
- You want to represent us on social media rather than in person
- You are looking for a full-time employee position — this is an independent contractor engagement

Compensation
Discussed during the interview. This is a contract engagement, not salaried employment.

How to apply
Apply through our short form — it takes about five minutes: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdjIHIATr2C4oeHii45c1ssmS4rHtZFm-wHYIKs6LBxQOeHrw/viewform
If the form does not open where you are, write to partner@starzip.io with your background and the areas you know best. We reply to every applicant.
