Joining our team in Dubai as a General Affairs Specialist, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining our operational footprint within the region. Your role will focus on ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, adhering to local regulations, and providing crucial support to our team's administrative and organizational needs. By fostering a compliant, efficient, and nurturing work environment, you will enhance Flipster's positioning in the UAE market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational aspects of the Dubai office, including procurement and coordination with vendors.
  • Handle documentation, meeting arrangements, travel bookings, and employee visa procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to UAE laws, oversee licensing renewals, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding, maintain records, and support payroll operations.
  • Supervise office maintenance, safety protocols, and security measures.
  • Develop and oversee budgets to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to senior management and manage special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in roles relating to general affairs, office management, or similar functions.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with administrative tools.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of UAE labor regulations, visa procedures, and compliance frameworks.
