About the Role
Toku is seeking a Global Payroll Manager responsible for customer relations and large-scale payroll operations. The primary focus is on ensuring seamless experiences for our clients worldwide, addressing any payroll, employment, token grants, and immigration matters.
Our team requires expertise in payroll operations, whether gained in-house or at a payroll services provider, to effectively manage client needs.
This role merges payroll proficiency with customer service excellence, maintaining accurate payroll processing, compliance, and client support to foster strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for clients, addressing payroll queries and resolving routine issues promptly.
- Assist clients throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to our payroll services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors by collaborating with internal teams and local partners.
- Elevate complex payroll or compliance issues to senior team members and ensure timely resolution and client communication.
- Collaborate with various departments to deliver seamless customer experiences and address inquiries effectively.
- Conduct regular customer check-ins to gauge satisfaction levels, offer guidance on best practices, and identify areas for improvement.
- Aid in processing employee payroll, guaranteeing accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and compliance with local laws.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure correct payroll execution and adherence to country-specific regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll either in-house or at an external provider.
- Proficiency in managing stakeholders, problem-solving, and relationship management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
- Customer-centric approach with a dedication to customer success.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
