Description
The Arbitrum Foundation is in search of an enthusiastic and strategic individual to fill the role of Head of Community Engagement. This position involves spearheading the development of a thriving ecosystem for Arbitrum One, Nova, Orbit, and additional products on the horizon. The ideal candidate will champion community engagement, playing a pivotal role in creating an inclusive and lively space where developers, users, and enthusiasts can connect, collaborate, and drive forward the future of Ethereum scaling solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Institutional Key Opinion Leaders within the specified region. Evaluate potential KOLs based on their influence, engagement, reach, and alignment with Arbitrum's brand values and objectives.
- Create and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy across diverse platforms such as Twitter and Discord.
- Establish a strong personal brand within the Web3 domain as a thought leader.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive online environment for the global Arbitrum community.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions, address community queries, and deliver exceptional community support.
- Coordinate engaging online and offline events like AMAs, hackathons, and meetups to boost community growth and interest.
- Identify and cultivate community influencers and leaders.
- Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Developer Relations) to ensure consistent communication and community coordination.
- Analyze community engagement metrics and sentiment to identify areas for enhancement.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in community management and online engagement strategies.
Requirements
- Possess 5+ years of experience in community engagement, with a preference for at least the last 3 years focused on Web3.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing online communities.
- Extensive knowledge of Web3, the developer/user landscape, and the Arbitrum ecosystem.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with the community.
- Experience engaging with the Arbitrum (or Ethereum) community.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a knack for rapport-building.
- Experience in fostering a positive and fruitful online community environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with community management tools and platforms such as Discord and social media monitoring tools.
- A data-driven approach, including the ability to analyze and interpret community metrics.
