International Payroll Lead/Analyst (Spain, Part-time)

Position Summary
Toku is seeking a skilled part-time payroller to support our Payroll team, working 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will excel in managing daily payroll operations and critical projects, ensuring efficient processes and best practices. They will primarily oversee Spanish payrolls and act as the main point of contact for related matters.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify, collect, and organize payroll data for processing with local software or providers
- Prepare and submit payroll data to suppliers across multiple countries
- Engage with payroll providers, handling submissions and addressing associated inquiries
- Review and reconcile payroll data promptly to guarantee accurate and compliant payments on time
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries from internal teams and external parties
- Maintain up-to-date records, procedures, and transition providers effectively
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues independently from start to finish
- Offer support as needed across departments
Minimum Qualifications
- Over three years of solid experience in Spanish payroll processing
- Proficient in payroll functions and best practices with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish with strong Excel proficiency
- Problem-solving skills with a critical thinking approach
- Familiarity with payroll systems outside Spain and additional languages a plus
- Experience with crypto compensation is advantageous
