IRA Account Specialist
Foris Capital US LLC, a company under a popular brand, is in search of a seasoned FINRA Series 7 Registered Representative with expertise in IRAs and retirement accounts to be part of the broker/dealer team. This role primarily involves managing IRA-related queries and transactions, offering complete support to clients for all aspects of their retirement accounts, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
As a pivotal team member in client service, your main responsibility will be to engage with customers directly, providing assistance related to IRA rollovers, transfers, contributions, distributions, required minimum distributions (RMDs), beneficiary updates, and dealing with intricate issues like excess contributions returns and recharacterizations. Additionally, you will play a role in enhancing processes and delivering an outstanding client service experience through phone, email, and chat interactions. This role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Share your expertise on IRAs and retirement accounts, covering areas like Traditional, Roth, and future Inherited IRAs
- Deliver top-tier customer service through various channels, ensuring all interactions comply with regulations
- Accurately and efficiently process and aid in IRA transfers, rollovers, contributions, distributions, and recharacterizations
- Educate clients on rules concerning retirement accounts, including contribution limits, RMD requirements, and tax implications
- Identify opportunities to enhance the IRA service experience and assist in implementing operational improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex IRA or retirement-related challenges
- Stay updated on IRS and FINRA rules linked to retirement accounts
- Contribute to crafting educational content and tools to assist clients in making informed retirement decisions
Requirements & Skills
- Current FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses are mandatory
- At least 1 year of experience in the retirement or brokerage sector, with a specific focus on IRAs and retirement accounts
- Strong understanding of IRA contribution, distribution, and rollover regulations
- Clean regulatory record without any Disclosure Events
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to establish trust with clients, provide clear guidance within compliance boundaries
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proactive problem-solver keen on expanding knowledge in retirement products and services
- Passionate about aiding clients in achieving their retirement and financial objectives while fostering a positive customer-centric culture
- Willingness to work and support clients in an overnight trading 24/5 environment.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
