Seedify Meta Studios is in search of a skilled and imaginative Lead 3D Artist to lead a highly talented team of artists for a significant Metaverse project, Seedworld on Unreal 5.2+.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, inspire, and nurture a team of 3D artists
- Supervise and coordinate art production to meet project quality standards within technical, time, and budget constraints
- Establish the art direction by collaborating closely with the Art Director and Technical Artist
- Contribute to pipeline and tool development with Lead Developers and Technical Artist to ensure successful art production
- Develop 3D assets, including Props, Environments, and Textures
- Optimize the 3D asset production pipeline
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a lead 3D Artist (with expertise in stylized and realistic art)
- Proficient understanding of game development processes, constraints, and interrelations among production trades
- Strong proficiency in current 3D software (such as Maya or equivalent)
- Mastery of Substance Painter and Substance Designer
- Proficient in Unreal Engine
- Effective communication skills and a reputation for artistic evaluation
- Strong team collaboration skills and proactive attitude
- Good artistic sense
- Professional proficiency in English
