Role Summary
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving revenue growth through proactive prospecting, relationship-building, and strategic selling. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and promoting our products to potential clients. This role offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission structure, and target earnings of $120K in the first year. Candidates should reside within driving distance of the Omaha area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research, cold calling, door-to-door selling, and networking to identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory.
- Be open to frequent travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, taking into account that multiple hours of driving may be necessary.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and effectively promote our products and services.
- Deliver in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Develop personalized sales strategies to exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Keep updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, addressing any objections or concerns with the guidance of your manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline using SalesForce.
- Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's values and maintaining a professional image.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing best practices with colleagues.
- Continuously strive to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in door-to-door sales is preferred.
- Expect travel to account for 50% or more of the role.
- At least 1 year of relevant sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey value propositions, negotiate terms, and build rapport with clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and nurture lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Motivated by achieving and surpassing sales targets, consistently demonstrating a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Skilled at identifying client needs, offering tailored solutions, and addressing objections to successfully close deals.
- Familiarity with the company's products and services and the ability to effectively communicate their features and benefits.

- Willingness to adjust strategies based on client feedback, market changes, and evolving business goals.
- Comfortable using CRM software (SalesForce), sales tools, and technology to manage leads, track interactions, and report progress.
