Role
Toku is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations in India and the APAC region. The ideal candidate will take charge of end-to-end local and EOR payrolls, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations worldwide. This role demands a proactive approach to redefining global compensation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize payroll data efficiently
- Execute monthly payrolls for multiple clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Review and reconcile payroll data promptly to facilitate timely and precise employee payments
- Maintain updated records, processes, and procedures
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues effectively
- Handle statutory filings and stay informed on payroll compliance for India
- Uphold data accuracy and integrity
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries
Requirements
- Over 6 years of experience in payroll management or equivalent roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in payroll processes and best practices
- Familiarity with software tools like SAP and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with external partners
- Effective organizational and time management abilities, adaptable to changes
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in founding or managing projects
