Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Digital Assets and Investments department. In this role, you will lead the financial accounting responsibilities for digital assets and investment transactions, encompassing reconciliations, journal entries, analysis, reporting, and process enhancements. Being part of a multi-entity international company, you will collaborate with diverse accounting teams worldwide to ensure accurate financial reporting, audit support, and compliance related to corporate digital assets. Close collaboration with various teams is crucial, including data and engineering, product, treasury, risk, and general finance departments.

Primary Duties:

  • Facilitating month-end closing procedures for digital assets and investments.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis to verify the accuracy and integrity of balances in financial statements.
  • Supporting critical reporting data and regulatory submissions.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, liaising with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting practices.
  • Delivering comprehensive reporting requirements to stakeholders and validating accuracy for new product launches.
  • Contributing to the adoption of digital assets accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Assisting in compliance with relevant SOX, audit, and tax obligations.
  • Undertaking specialized accounting analyses and projects upon request.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Preferably possess Big 4 experience and CPA certification.
  • Proven expertise in complex reconciliations and financial data analysis.
  • Strong grasp of technical accounting principles and current compliance regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive mindset, collaborative approach, and creative thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
