Key Responsibilities:
Circle is in search of an innovative Senior Social Media Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage with our audience through organic social channels. The scope of engagement spans across a diverse range of industry players, including enterprises, crypto-native developers, regulators, and individuals utilizing digital currency. Effective management of organic social media is crucial for Circle to expand its global reach, and you will be instrumental in energizing our social channels worldwide.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you will spearhead the development and execution of our social media strategy. Your responsibilities will include ideation, content creation, and coordination with various cross-functional teams across the organization.
Key Duties:
- Lead social media and content planning on owned platforms while assessing opportunities on emerging or niche platforms.
- Create engaging and impactful content to enhance awareness, audience engagement, and drive desired actions.
- Ensure consistent brand alignment and engagement through visually appealing content on social channels.
- Oversee and drive social media initiatives in alignment with the company's roadmap and cross-functional collaboration.
- Integrate social media strategy into product launches, growth endeavors, and influencer marketing efforts to boost brand engagement and increase USDC awareness.
- Contribute insights and strategies to meet marketing goals and enhance social media engagement, relevance, and effectiveness.
- Manage external resources if necessary, such as freelancers or agencies, for optimized performance.
- Analyze and report on the outcomes of organic social campaigns, making data-driven improvements to enhance performance.
- Stay updated on social trends, test new concepts, and leverage business insights for ongoing optimization.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in social media, Web3 marketing, content creation, social media analytics, or B2B consumer finance.
- Expertise in organic social media and content creation, with a solid understanding of consumer finance, Web3, and digital currency.
- Exceptional communication skills, including presentations, writing, and copywriting proficiency when required.
- Proficient in managing external resources like freelancers, contractors, and agencies to scale operations effectively.
- Self-driven and adept at navigating unstructured environments by establishing clear narratives, goals, and timelines.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the future of digital currency and blockchain technology.
- Tech-savvy with experience or familiarity with various tools such as Slack, GSuite, Hubspot, and analytics platforms.
