We are seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to join the growing tax compliance function at our organization. This role will primarily focus on corporate tax and indirect tax compliance for the European, Middle-Eastern, and African (EMEA) region, with opportunities for involvement in various reporting matters. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, EMEA, the ideal candidate should exhibit strong teamwork skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to critically review work. This role requires a solid grasp of tax concepts and the capacity to apply tax knowledge effectively in business scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate income tax accounting across EMEA jurisdictions ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Assist with corporate income tax compliance and indirect tax for EMEA entities by preparing necessary returns and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain tax administration tools such as cash tax trackers with precision.
  • Input tax journal entries into the enterprise accounting system.
  • Keep tax tools updated with quarterly tax calculations.
  • Collaborate with both local and overseas colleagues as well as external tax service providers for tax filings and projects.
  • Stay informed about various tax regulations across jurisdictions and understand their impact on the organization.
  • Conduct research in areas related to crypto/digital tax, corporate tax, and indirect tax.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • A Master's in Accountancy or ACCA qualification, with an additional tax qualification being advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience ideally gained in a tax services firm; in-house experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
  • Ability to communicate tax issues concisely and clearly.
  • Strong analytical, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for digital asset growth and a commitment to a long-term career in the industry.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
