Overview:
We seek a Business Developer experienced in traditional sports to spearhead our expansion into major sporting leagues and clubs beyond esports. Through established connections within football, basketball, rugby, Formula 1, and other established sports markets, you will position XBorg as the cutting-edge fan engagement platform for conventional sports organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a market strategy for entering traditional sports markets like Football, Basketball, Rugby, and Formula 1.
- Utilize existing relationships with clubs, leagues, and sports marketing agencies to secure strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with product teams to align platform features with the specific needs of traditional sports fans.
- Represent XBorg at key sports industry events, conferences, and club meetings to educate traditional sports stakeholders on digital engagement benefits.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional sports organizations, leagues, or sports marketing agencies.
- Established connections with decision-makers in sports clubs and leagues across major sports sectors.
- Demonstrated success in closing commercial partnerships, sponsorship agreements, or technology implementations in the sports industry.
- In-depth understanding of sports business models, fan behavior, and commercial landscape in professional sports.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in traditional sports contexts.
- Ability to effectively communicate innovative technology solutions with traditional sports executives.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- International exposure and relationships are beneficial due to the global nature of major sports.
- Familiarity with fan engagement technologies and web3 considered a plus.
