Key Responsibilities:

Circle is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join the Finance Operations team, leading the design, optimization, and management of finance transformation projects essential for the company's growth and development. The role involves close collaboration with Finance and cross-functional teams to spearhead finance automation, streamline core finance processes, support international expansion, and enable product roadmap alignment.

Primary Duties:

  • Overseeing the execution and operationalization of finance transformation initiatives, inclusive of ERP system implementation and process automation.
  • Collaborating closely with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams to enhance core finance process facilitation.
  • Driving change management activities, encompassing documentation and training for new finance systems and processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, such as Product, to ensure finance operations readiness for new ventures and global expansions.
  • Contributing to scaling finance processes and system architecture to align with the company's global growth strategies.
  • Assisting in developing and enhancing project management methodologies and tools to elevate the efficiency of finance operations initiatives, ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and communication throughout projects.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to promote collaborative success across the organization.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in fields like Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Fostering 7+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, transformation, or similar realms.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance operations, encompassing core finance processes, internal controls, and financial systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management prowess in guiding teams through transformative projects.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with robust problem-solving capabilities and adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Motivated, proactive attitude with a commitment to enhancing processes and delivering ongoing value.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a readiness to adapt to change.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

Additional Information:

  • The position qualifies for day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates.
  • Compensation is composed of base pay ranging from $130,000 to $170,000, with a 15% annual bonus target, equity, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options. Additional provisions comprise a discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays in the U.S.
