Marketing Lead, South Korea
About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Marketing Lead in South Korea who is enthusiastic about web3 to become part of our team. As the Marketing Lead in South Korea, you will be tasked with formulating and executing local marketing strategies along with operational tactics. You will be overseeing the execution of marketing in South Korea, setting priorities collaboratively with the global head of marketing, managing the marketing budget, and ensuring the smooth implementation of day-to-day activities. Your responsibilities will primarily involve planning, supervising, and executing projects related to our marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the marketing strategy for South Korea in conjunction with other Marketing Leads in Asia and North America
- Supervise marketing projects to ensure they are prioritized, progressing as planned, and delivered promptly
- Coordinate local events in respective regional markets
- Stay updated on market trends, conduct market research, gather user insights, monitor competitors' activities, and incorporate findings into an overarching marketing strategy
- Analyze and evaluate marketing performance
- Manage logistics and support operations for marketing projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or similar functions
- Extensive experience in digital advertising/marketing and social media
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with local language media, marketing agencies, KOLs, and other stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of sharing ideas effectively with large teams and executive leadership
- Proficient in project management, with the capacity to inspire collaboration among internal and external partners, cross-functional teams, and agencies to achieve common objectives
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Event organization and project management experience, including managing in-person meetups, hackathons, etc.
- Prior knowledge of web3 is a prerequisite
- Proficient in Korean and English in both written and oral communication
Compensation: The salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $100,000 USD. The indicated range reflects the minimum and maximum typical targets for new hire salaries. Compensation is influenced by experience, location, demonstrated skills during interviews, working background, and relevant education or training. It is noteworthy that the base salary includes only base pay and excludes equity, tokens, or benefits.
