Office Administrator (Part-Time) - 3 Month Contract This opportunity entails a 3-month contract starting in November and may be eligible for extension down the line.
Join us as an office administrator in setting up and maintaining our newly established office space in Toronto. Your role involves creating a conducive work environment and fostering camaraderie among our team at Shakepay.
You will:
- Oversee the office inventory, ensuring adequate supplies, and equipment availability; manage procurement and maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Manage reception-related functions such as mail, deliveries, and guest interactions; serve as the primary liaison for building management and security matters.
- Coordinate both physical and virtual team engagements, including lunches and events, to uphold our vibrant company culture.
- Respond to team inquiries on office operations and gather feedback on improving office management procedures.
Desired Qualities:
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing position.
- Positive and energetic demeanor that lifts the room.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Proficiency in Google Suite tools (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive).
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
