We are seeking a Tax and Accounting Assistant situated in Germany to provide expertise on various financial matters including inputting invoices, pre-sorting receipts, payroll accounting, undertaking bookkeeping activities, aiding audits, and assisting with budget and financial planning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Input incoming and outgoing invoices into the invoice book
- Categorize and organize receipts effectively
- Prepare payroll accounting tasks
- Complete Bookkeeping duties prior to month-end accounting
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation
- Offer support for budgeting and financial planning activities
Requirements:
- Completion of extensive training as a tax clerk or in business studies, with a preferred focus on taxes, accounting, or controlling
- Over 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficient understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and tax legislation
- Strong teamwork capabilities, effective communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and responsibly
- Skilled in using DATEV and MS Office programs, with proficiency in English also required
- Previous experience in payroll preparation preferable
